The quest to find ourselves
Flaria awoke early that morning in her usual spot in the ally with her friend, Mireen, beside her. She stood, picked up all she owned, which only filled half her pack, and got ready to go to the early maket.
"I'll be back soon, okay my friend?" she spoke softly to her friend.
Mireen nodded in swift reply and nestled back down. Flaria walked down the road to the market area to trade and buy the supplies she needed for her long journey.
"Flaria? Surprised seeing you 'ere in this street this 'morn!" Said the old shop keeper to Flaria.
"I know, I've decided to leave this place to try to find my real home, what do you have in traveling supplies?" She quiried.
"Flaria, for you my friend, this is all on the house! It's the least I can do for your workins 'ere! Take what you need, just not anyth'n too pricey!" He said with pride.
"Thank you, I'll take some traveling clothes, those rations of food, a bow, a carving knife, and that herb kit please." She said gratefully.
"Ere yas go! Good luck now, and come visit some time!" He said waving goodbye as Flaria left the stand.
"Goodbye! And I will!" she said, and then raced off to get Mireen. "Mireen? Let's go! She told her familiar."Come on, you can ride on my shoulder for a while even!"
The raven looked up, her eyes glimmering, and in thought words, said: "Yay! We're leaving! But to where?"
"For starts, the forest. We'll make are way from there." She explained. And the two companians set off into the woods.
