Shanda Sued For RMB 100,000 In Virtual Items

Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) is being sued for RMB 100,000 by a gamer of its licensed MMORPG
Legend of Mir II in the Shanghai Pudong District People's Court, reports People.com.cn. The gamer, surnamed Wen, is suing for virtual item losses that occurred over a period of nearly one year beginning last March. Wen said he has spent RMB 200,000 on virtual items for the game over the past six years. The Shanghai lawsuit is based on the disappearance of a level 37 weapon and 30 other virtual items occurring between March, 2007 and February, 2008.
