d20 Mecha: d20 RPG Supplement (Paperback)

David L. Pulver

Rules Supplement

This supplement introduces one of the most popular genres of anime to players of d20 System role-playing games: the "mecha" world of giant transforming robots, powered battle armor, star-spanning space cruisers, speedy hot rods and motorbikes, military assault vehicles, giant mechanical monsters, and much more. The d20 Mecha book provides a detailed, point-based creation system for all mecha types, making it an essential supplement for Big Eyes, Small Mouth d20 or any other d20 System game. Additionally, d20 Mecha explores the common mecha story conventions, with game rules covering prestige classes, character options, combat maneuvers, hit locations, and campaign suggestions.

BESM d20 also includes: new character classes (including magical girl, mecha pilot, pet monster trainer, and a dozen more), new skills, new feats, an exhaustive point-based attribute list, and a detailed cost assignment for the core 3.5 Edition fantasy races and classes.

Sengoku Basara sequel on the way

Hot Off The Press (Gamer News)

Capcom is developing another installment in its Dynasty Warriors-like beat-'em-up series for the PlayStation 2.

Capcom today announced that a sequel to its historical beat-'em-up, Sengoku Basara, is currently in development for a 2006 release on the PlayStation 2. Much of the original game's development team is returning for the project, including producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Resident Evil 4), director Makoto Yamamoto (P.N.03), and character designer Makoto Tsuchibayashi (Devil May Cry). Capcom has opened a teaser Web site (http://www.capcom.co.jp/sengoku2/) for Sengoku Basara 2, which currently features an illustration of one new character, Maeda Keiji, a historical warrior (1543-1612) who lived during the reign of Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the Sengoku period.
