Overstuffed Couch

Add your own.

*is equally guilty of that*

You know you're a gamer (potentially a drunk one) if you have stumbled upon the realization that the Customized Crown Royal bags make Wonderful dice bags.

You know you're a gamer if you can reminisce for hours about things your character has done. (Kobold Rogue with a Baseball bat anyone?)

You know you're a gamer if you go Three to Four Thousand miles to play one session of D&D with you're old group. (Actually happened, my friend Aaron Weringa came home from Germany to visit family and sat in with the group before they sent him back to Germany before he goes to Iraq)

You know you're a gamer if you spend three or four hours making characters you will never use, or have a game in which to play them, just for fun.

If you can't blame Effie, you can always blame me.
Its quiet...Too quiet.

But you can never have too many dice.

Adding: when you realize that your gamer friends significantly outnumber your non-gamer friends and that, frankly, you'd rather hang out with gamers anyway.

And: when you can tell a client at a professional meeting, with a straight face, that the name of your company is the name of your first D&D character. Effie Rover, Inc. - a three foot halfling with two-foot-long red braids. *muses - I should put a tribute to her on my website. Next upgrade*

You have characters and dice older than your kids.

Does the difference in their ages work as a multiplier effect?

You use knowledge learnt in a role playing game to explain how something works.

You learn how something work so you can use it in a role playing game.

You've ever gotten in a physical scuffle with someone over how a movie character should be rated in rpg stats, only to have a third party inform you both you were both using material from netbooks & house rules, and that you weren't even using the same system...

You might be a gamer if... your math books contains more (N)PC stats then calculations.
You might be a gamer if... you don't know how to do advanced calculations on your graphic calculator, but you do write your own NPC and Encounter Generators on them.
