Tavern of the White Wolf

Reviews and Advice

Hello there,

I just put together a web site containing everyy information I got on Dungeons and Dragons. Books, netbooks, handbooks, guides, history, adventures, campaigns, and more. I used to be a big fan of DnD and now I don't have the needed spare time to play.

So I decided to share everything with the web.

Here it is: http://dnd.clubcafe.org/ - The Tavern of the White Wolf

Hi,

Not sure if you wanted a review, but since I'm feeling in a helpful mood...

First of all, I can see you are doing this from an enthusiasm for role playing in general. I am not sure which parts are copyrighted and which are not. You might want to give that some thought. Copyrights are not just some measure to make our lives difficult and unfair because we can't get things cheap. They pay original authors or artists for their work without which the internet, and our entire hobby, would be a lesser place. That goes both for the text as the graphics. If you've got permission from the original creators it is all fine and dandy of course.

Having said this, there is enough available on which the copyright is lifted or didn't exist in the first place. There are never enough resources for a GM.

You've chosen a format forum to publish this material in. It made me frown a little, as it is not the easiest navigation I've ever used for such stretches of text. Have you considered using a wiki instead? That is free software and it makes it interlinking and searchable.

Hope this helps!

Maeve
