NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month began yesterday but it's not too late to get in on the action. In case you've missed the posts from Eisel and me in the past, NaNo is where people all over the world attempt to write a 50K word novel in 30 days (aka November.) It's fun, crazy, leads to lots of dirty dishes in the sink and wearing the same pair of jeans until they can walk and talk but it's a creative whirlwind and so much fun!

If you've ever wanted to try, go sign up now (the servers are a bit over-loaded at the moment but things should settle down soon) and start. There are a few rules but there is also a group of NaNo rebels breaking those rules. And fanfic is welcomed! www.nanowrimo.org
