It seems that the Everquest games are still chugging along after 9 years of activity. Recently the devolopers of these two (love 'em or hate 'em) venerable games announced that Everquest and Everquest II would be getting two brand new expansions.

Everquest, now in it's Ninth year, is releasing its Sixteenth expansion: "Underfoot", due out November '09.

Everquest II, now in it's FifthSixth expansion: "Sentinel's Fate", which will raise EQII's "level cap" to 90. This Expansion will allow players to play at higher levels in lower-level areas (without hindering the gain of experience) and it will also add modern-style "Achievements" to this relatively 'old' title.
